New feature! Crop Patterns
Be sure to check our Fan Page for more details, and where a cool and really useful gift also awaits you inside the post text, as a Coupon Code you can claim from inside the game (XP star > Stats & Skills > Vouchers). And, don’t forget to LIKE and SHARE if you like pixel art, design, and for more gifts!
A first-of-its-kind feature in farming games, Crop Patterns combines knowledge, skill and failure into a potent mix of experimentation and discovery.
How it works:
- Choose the grid size – you can save multiple sizes to place on various areas of your farm.
- Choose the design colors – you can choose up to 8 colors for a design.
- Choose the crop for each color – here, the expert knowledge of the crops really comes in handy.
- Save the design (optional) – if you created a masterpiece, it’s best to save it. You save up to 9 designs.
- Click Plant – a grid of your selected size will appear, and you need to place it over a crop field with all crops next to each other, and Joe will plant that for you. MUCH better than trying to remember what brown seeds you planted on brown soil. Required Energy depends on the grid size, from 15 Energy to 40 Energy, for the biggest 25×25 grid.
If you think you nailed a design, you have the possibility to share it to the community, for instant fame and recognition of your knowledge and skills.
We’ve included three designs as examples. But based on what we’ve seen you do on your farm over the years, we have a feeling you’ll do much better than we did.
Improvements to Joe’s popups
- drastically simplified his Plant & Harvest popups, with about 100 small improvements.
- new Plant 50 of Each feature – when creating a seeding plan, next to the Plant button there’s a 50E checkbox, that will automatically create a plan with what crops you’re low on, starting from level 1 crops. This will come in handy for completely filling up the Train. Cost, 7 Purple Vouchers.
- new Mixt them Up feature – you also have the choice of planting your field as if you put all seeds in a bag and give them to Joe. It’s a checkbox with a dice, in the same place. Cost, 2 Green Vouchers.
We can’t wait to see what designs and crop pairings you come up with, and happy farming!
New Features
- Added new settings: Flick Panning and Zoom Bounce. Flick panning we believe is a must, and will make navigating the farm much easier. Zoom bounce, it depends on your computer.
- Improved how the game is played with laptop trackpads significantly. Up until now, it was very unplayable, as the trackpad sensibility was off the charts. Still more improvements to do.
- Added a Joe position pointer, making it easier to locate him when called. When you double click and he is outside the screen, a circle with a pointer appears in the direction he comes from, until he arrives in the visible area. Circle exterior is cream, and when you double click again (Joe’s “on the double” speed), the circle turns red.
- Blue Dot now gained enhanced tracking, with a more detailed description on how many things there are. It’s called Blue Dot Premium, and it is activated if you are a Daily Player. In its regular state, it says Plants/plots/trees ready!, same as before.
- You can now use 1/4/9 multitool with Fertilizer too. You can now use up a Fertilizer 20 bag instantly.
Gameplay Changes and Fixes
- Changed how Ducklings mature so you can actually see them growing. We omitted in development the situation where you feed the ducklings and log in after 20 hours, a case where they would already grown. When we create the Events, we don’t have a very strong idea on how exactly the Grand Prize should work, only that it should be very fun, and should behave in an interesting and as close to nature as possible. So, you complain, we change. 🙂 Now, if a duck is laying eggs and you return to the game (even after a full day), they will hatch first, then continue their 12-hour growth time instead of already being fully grown.
- Joe no longer requires energy to pick up Rotten Apples.
- Restored Rotten Apples to their original values, with a maximum of 22 per farm.
- Tree seed generation in Bellflower Meadow is now capped again at up to 2 seeds per day.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Wild Trees could be planted in Bellflower Orchards. Once removed, they can no longer be replanted there.
- Fixed an issue where the path from Bellflower Meadow could be moved to other expansions but not restored.
- Fixed an issue where picnic tables and baskets from the Log Cabin Area could not be moved or added to the Old Shack.
- Fixed an issue where main thread quests were appearing as uncompleted.
- You can now clear Strawberries/Pineberries even when the Old Shack is full, as they do not drop loot.
With these fixes, everything should work as before. Plants regenerate slower than after refactoring, so you’ll use less Energy.
Also, fixed an issue causing Gifting to be slow for some players.
Added a couple of surprises when growing ducklings 😉 Happy farming!
Improvements
Beehives
- NEW Langstroth Beehive popup, that is MUCH simpler and easier to use than the mess with the giant tooltip.
Truck & Travel
- When you enter the area where Joe can drop his stuff, the area’s edge flashes yellow briefly.
- Tyrone speaks on click at satellite farms too.
- Smoother camera animations when following the Truck.
- Driver speech bubble hides when the Truck starts moving.
UI & Polish
- Fixed some confusing popups that had grey and green button.
- Smoother camera fly-by on screen load, with per-intro focus points.
- Tool hover overlays unified to rounded isometric diamonds.
-
New pick-up item animation and sound.
World & Characters
- Joe can go to and walk onto pavement/path tiles if you double click on them.
-
Joe: rapid clicks no longer restart animations mid-cycle.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed harvest commands crashing when plant’s parent was null.
- Fixed exterior objects not showing when visiting other players.
- Fixed Find Tabby Cat / hasCat so tabby and black cat are found in the tree house and warehouse.
- Fixed cat tree house warehouse search.
- Fixed Hire Joe popup queue.
- Fixed foraging double-XP tree detection.
- Fixed shop RC page sorting; herb planting now uses shop free-items quantity.
- Fixed truck menu station selection and Cypress Grove invisible-truck edge case.
- Fixed energy-from-truck use not updating the popup.
Event Ended Cleanup
- Copper Ore, Zinc Ore can no longer be found when mining. Will be reinstated with the Mine update.
- Smelter was removed for players that don’t have Bellflower Meadow and Coins were given back.
- Brass Bar removed from Smelter.
Bug fixes and improvements:
- Highly improved the Truck’s popup. Now you can travel to all Truck Stations directly from there too.
- Added Fuel value bars in Fast Travel and Truck’s popup, so you know how much you have before traveling.
- Added Energy value bars in Fast Travel and Joe’s popup, for the same reasons mentioned above.
- Fixed some memory leaks in Joe’s popups.
- Fixed a memory leak when moving items around the farm, in Firefox.
- Changed filtering in Shop and Barn to be from [what you selected] AND alphabetically to [what you selected] AND level. This way you see the crops in the order you are used to (Clover, Wheat, Corn…), and you can plant based on the well established chains.
- Sounds and animations improvements for Joe when collecting things like sand from the beach.
- Connoisseur Orders glitch fix – if no Connoisseur Order is completed, it doesn’t get stuck at the first connoisseur when next Order arrives. This way, you can see what all other nut jobs want from you, and refuse them all, if you wish to do so, or don’t have the required materials. We had a long list of clients for you when we published the Pottery Studio, but it got stuck at Lady Petunia.
- several bug fixes related to the refactorings (boy, we are glad we listened to you and didn’t publish the Spring Event during Competitions).
- Fixed a bug where you couldn’t collect a seed because the shadow of the travel to button blocked what is behind it.
- Increased Copper Ore and Zinc Ore finding frequency inside the Mine.
Use Coupon Code MTCE26 for 100 Copper Ore, 100 Cherry Tree Logs, 50 Zinc Ore, 1 Methane Tank and 12 Beech Logs.

What’s New – Winter & Spring Update
We’ve been busy! Here’s a look at everything we’ve added and improved over the past few months.
New Game Beginning
We completely redesigned the beginning of the game for new players, removing some older repetitive Quests and introducing Beatrice right from the start.
Beatrice is NOT part of the Spring Event, just in case you’re wondering.
Beatrice and the Chicken Traps
Beatrice has been sitting in your Neighbor bar for a while — but now she finally gets a proper introduction! You’ll help her catch the chickens that escaped near your farm after she forgot to secure the latch on her Animal Trailer.
- An exciting chicken-catching mini-game with traps and tools
- Beatrice’s animated truck arrival with chickens escaping from her Trailer
- Lively chicken behavior — watch them flap, run, and drop feathers
- A full story told through animated cutscenes and speech bubbles
- New music and sound effects throughout the whole sequence
Afterwards, you can visit Beatrice at her own farm and find her going about her usual routine — she’s now a fully fledged Neighbor.
Existing players will also get a version of this introduction, so everyone gets a proper chance to meet her. Just for them, we created a special variant, with removable Cow, and Clover and Wheat fields.
New Quest System
Quests got a major upgrade to make your adventure smoother and more engaging:
- Mini Quests — new players now get bite-sized guiding tasks that appear right on the screen to help them get started
- Quest Stories — some Quests now open with a short preamble to set the scene
- Famous Quotes — when you complete a Quest, when you visit the Quest popup, the Quest card will flip over to discover an inspiring quote about farming from a famous person
- Better Notifications — new Quest alerts that auto-hide so they don’t get in the way (new players)
Much Improved Farm Travel
Getting around your farms has never been easier! We’ve completely overhauled the travel system:
- Redesigned travel buttons — clearer, better positioned, with proper tooltips showing fuel and energy costs
- Truck button added to area travel — hop on the truck directly from the travel menu, where available
- Travel between all areas is now faster and more intuitive
Improved Popups & Menus
- Letters — completely redesigned from the ground up with new fonts, new layout, and photo animations
- Buy Land Popup — now shows plants instead of crops for clarity
- Backpack Full — now reminds you that the Truck is an option too
- Barn Loading for Truck — recently used items now appear first
- Train Popup — both buttons on the “No Bonus Shipment” confirmation are now green for clarity
- Planting Shop — unlock requirements are now based on your level instead of barn quantity
- Competitions — fixed the announcement popup not displaying correctly
- Fast Travel Popup — now works properly on tablets with scroll support
- Rain & Fertilizer — you can now use rain and fertilizer directly from the truck in Cypress Grove
Better Tooltips & Info
- Fence tooltips now display properly
- Fixed duplicate names and incorrect titles on various tooltips
- “Material needed” messages are now clearer — they use generic names for producers with multiple breeds, support pet names, and show honey-specific messages
- Tree tooltips now show the correct name and tool requirement
- Fixed tooltips accidentally showing the title from a nearby object
- Business card opener tooltip fixed
- Engineering tooltip corrected
- Info popup now properly shows “Used in” section for honey, sugar, and other items
- Flower pot title fixed in decoration tooltips
- Fixed tooltips jumping around when following walking pets
Sound & Music
- Fixed an issue where sounds wouldn’t play when visiting neighbors
- Fixed audio cutting out on some browsers
- New sound effects for chickens (in the mini game), footsteps, quest completion, planting, seed dropping, and more
- Warehouse item drop sound now replays correctly on rapid clicks
- Quest sounds fixed and improved with new task completion sounds
- Speech bubbles now play a subtle sound effect
- Tyrone now has footstep sounds when walking
- Click sounds added across many buttons that were previously silent
Wind & Nature
- Completely refactored how elements outside your farm are displayed which allowed us to improve the pond with cattail and water lilies. It also allowed the Easter Egg Hunt to be done in more places. It will also allow us to have better autumn and winter sceneries
- Plants and trees now gently sway in the wind with natural-looking animations (WIP)
- Different plant types have their own sway style
- Wind varies across your farm for a more immersive feel (WIP)
- There’s 2 separate Settings to turn on/off the wind
Loot System completely redesigned
Wild Plants and Bushes
Bushes, wild herbs, and other self-growing plants now appear in more varied locations, creating a more natural and less repetitive landscape. Their growth time and patterns have been redone too. (WIP)
Fallen Fruits and Seeds
Fruits and seeds that drop from trees — like apples, acorns, and beech seeds — now land in more random spots around the tree, making the scenery feel much more realistic.
Foraging Plants Growing Spree
Foraging plants that grew while you were away now appear already grown when you load the farm, instead of playing the growing animation every time you log in, that was getting a bit annoying. The growing animation and “Foraging plants growing spree!” message now only plays if you’re on the farm when new plants sprout.
Since we’ve worked on nearly all major functions of the game, improving both performance and preparing for future content, some glitches may still appear. Please allow a short time for these issues to be fixed.
Performance Improvements
- Rain effects are now significantly smoother thanks to optimized droplet pooling
- Text rendering improvements across the entire game — sharper, more consistent fonts everywhere
- Massive memory leak cleanup. The game should now run much more smoothly during long play sessions.
- Fixed screen transition leaks when traveling between farms
- Fixed Neighbor visit memory leaks
- Removed unused libraries to reduce game size
- Overall game stability improvements with dozens of crash fixes throughout
For players with many animals won at Events, we still have to do some heavy optimizations that we now can do with these new tools, and we hope that it won’t matter how much animals you have – 1 or 10, because they all will load their animations much more efficiently.

What’s new in this update:
- New game font: we’re very glad to introduce our very own custom font, FarmHouse CLM. Developed in-house and tailored to our game’s very specific needs, it is carefully designed to be both quirky and easy to read, even at small sizes, with each letter shaped to avoid confusion with others. It stays clear on all screens, from small counters to larger titles. And because it’s a font from a farm, we crafted it with a sheep shear. Precision wasn’t on the menu, so we ordered maximum fun instead. We hope you’ll find it much easier to read than the old one.
We’re also working on multilingual versions, so players from all over the world feel even more welcome. The old font simply didn’t include all the characters we needed and wasn’t as easy to read. - New logo – we also took the opportunity to update our logo with the new font and some fresh paint.
- Bigger and easier to read tooltips (Objects Info) – we simplified their design and made the text bigger.
- New Recipe – Gigante d’Inverno Spinach Pizza. Recipe unlocks if you unlock the corresponding Crop.
- New Gear – Glass Furnace. All those jars and bottles you’ve been using gotta come from somewhere, right?
- 2 New Achievements: Heart of Glass, WikiLeeks
- New Map Location – Longshore Beach, where you’ll find useful things for the Snow Globes Contest.
- World Map direct navigation – you can now go directly with the Truck or Joe to any location, by clicking it on the World Map. Understanding where the different places you go to are is now much more intuitive.
- There’s also a small World Map shortcut that takes you directly to the World Map, without going through the Fast Travel Popup. Just hover over the big World Map button, and the drawer with it will open.
❄️ 🎅 Happy Holidays from the CLM team! 🎄☃️
New Level Up popup featuring intricate animations, with a plant growing behind the fire-orange Level Up badge. The Level Up text starts to glow, and the plant grows three proud little flowers with the help of that light. Each level gets its very own flower, because your farm deserves that kind of respect. Then the stars from the banner pop out and reveal what items you have unlocked for that level.
But there’s a trick! Each item card is reversed. If you guess the Ranch Cash card on your first try, you win double RC!
Basically, we went from the crappiest Level Up popup to one of the best, in our opinion.
Happy Level Up!
- You can now complete Connoisseur Orders from the Pottery Studio. These connoisseurs are a whacky bunch of eccentrics, but they pay up to triple the materials price. Hover over their polaroid pictures inside the popup to learn how their orders work, from the article.
- The design of the Cheese Master has changed to be more accurate to real cheese making. It now has beautiful animations, a copper vat in an alpine style, and fire underneath to warm the milk. The base is slightly larger, so you will need to place your Cheese Masters again on your farm. Sometimes it rewards you with Ricotta Cheese, since the machine can now decide to transform leftover whey instead of discarding it. Ricotta Cheese is rewarded randomly, similar to Ice and Beeswax.
- You can now place the Pastry Oven, Canner, Giant Fermentation Barrels and Spice Shack in the Factories. However, the Giant Fermentation Barrels cannot be controlled remotely (from your farm).
- Fixed occasional error 5125 when harvesting Clover while it was being pollinated by Bees.
Happy Farming!
The Deer & Fawn
All there is to know about the Deer & Fawn here: https://global-clm-help.beetree.games/help/animals-and-pets/deer-and-fawn/
Quality of life improvements and various other updates:
- Added a Show planted Seeds sign setting (Settings, page 2). If checked, it shows a wooden sign with the icon of the seed you planted. Some seeds are harder to see, so this is also an accessibility feature. This was your most requested setting.
- New sorting option when selling with the Train: Fill Worth. It shows how much you’ll earn from filling the rest of the selected crate with your available items. We’ve sent hundreds of Trains to test it, and it works really well.
Suggested sorting to sell with the Train: for the Regular Crates, select the first Sort by (cream) to Fill Worth, High to Low, and the second (green), to Quantity . And if you fill the Krazy Crates, use Price, High to Low, and the second (green), use Quantity, while in the All Produce tab. - fixed the All Produce tab when selling with the Train having unavailable items mixed together with the available ones.
- trained the new Pigeon to sit on the Chairman Bones armrest, as shown in the Deal, at your suggestion.
Notes on the Events
When we choose the Grand Prizes, our focus is on how cute they look and on a single main idea that we present in the Facebook post. We also see having the animal on your farm as a meaningful prize in itself, not only the rewards it produces. For example, the early animals, the Bombay Cat and the Husky Dog, only gave XP, and each Contest provides its own reward as well, so the Grand Prize is just one of the prizes you can earn.
During the Event, we usually clarify the rest of the details, such as how the animal works or what prizes it gives. After that, we review your feedback and adjust the rewards or the mechanics when needed.
Since we avoid formulaic prizes, we try to make each Grand Prize animal behave differently and stay close to real life, while still keeping it fun and practical for a game. This can be challenging, since we might be the only ones taking this approach, and it requires the process described above.
Happy Farming!
